Marker Layers are a collection of Salesforce records that are plotted as location pins on the map based on the address information found in each record. Each layer can be toggled on or off of the map depending on your needs. Marker layers help you easily visualize data within Salesforce Maps. Users can plot layers to show where important Salesforce records are located, and begin planning how to service and manage these records as efficiently as possible.
Shape Layers and Boundaries allows you to draw a circle on the map that acts as a boundary. If the records are within the boundaries they are included, if they are not - they are excluded.
This feature is useful to set proximity boundaries in relation to a point of interest, ex: 10 km from an event venue. You can define boundaries in different ways such as travel time, so only prospects within a 15 minute drive time from the event venue are included.
Aggregate Data and easily calculate the sum, average, min, or max for the field data for each record within your specified boundaries. And you will be able to easily see specified data for each individual/account within that boundary.
